Jordy Kerwick
Biography
Jordy Kerwick (b.1982, Australia) is a self taught sculptor and painter who, inspired by the palaeolithic period uses motifs such as cobras and quasi-mythical creatures to produce compelling work which shields itself from conventions in both adulthood and traditional art practice methodology.
Jordy’s blend of mythological art and modernist techniques have inspired collectors worldwide, with acquisitions from established institutions such as the Museo Nacional Centro de Arte Reina Sofía, Madrid and Denver Art Museum, Denver, CO, USA.
