Nina Pandolfo
Born in 1977, Nina Pandolfo grew up in Sao Paulo, Brazil, drawing and painting from a young age. A widely known street artist Nina's artistic practice has evolved to include her now signature paintings depicting large-eyed characters in a playful universe often including animals such as cats, bees, and fish in her compositions.
A student of Visual Communication, Nina followed her bliss in the search for new media and creative freedom. She began tagging on the streets of Sao Paulo and soon after became an integral member of the 90's Brazilian graffiti scene pioneering the way for the inclusion of graffiti in Museums and Galleries.
Since her first exhibition at the age of 22, entitled "A Minute of Silence" with the Funarte National Arts Foundation, Nina has exhibited internationally. In 2022, she released her book "Nina" bringing together a selection of images depicting her life. Nina participated in the fifth edition of AmFar Inspiration Gala São Paulo in 2015 to raise funds to fight AIDS. Her work titled "Greater than the immensity of Peace" was the gift sold with the highest bid at the auction.
