Overview
Dubai, United Arab Emirates (January 2025) - Situated on the vibrant boulevard beside the world's tallest tower, JD Malat Gallery prepares for its foray into the Middle East with a 1700 square foot space in downtown Dubai. The acclaimed Mayfair veteran, JD Malat Gallery, sees this as an opportunity to not only showcase the gallery's distinguished roster but also provide a platform to discover and nurture emerging talents from the region. This expansion reflects the gallery's mission to foster a global dialogue through contemporary art and support artists in gaining international acclaim.
JD Malat Gallery has a proven track record of presenting work in prestigious collections, museums and foundations worldwide. Building an additional base in the Middle East makes space for further growth among a dynamic audience. Founder JD Malat has long admired the region's ever-evolving cultural landscape and is looking forward to bringing his artists to a city he holds in high regard. "The vision for our gallery resonates deeply with the growing appetite for international contemporary art among collectors in the Middle East," Malat remarks. "It is a privilege to see the work of the artists we represent exhibited in such a culturally diverse context. JD Malat Gallery Dubai gives us an additional space to build on those careers, as well as nurture new ones."
